Alisa grew up in the Solomon Islands but she comes from a long and mixed lineage of Polynesian and Melanesian artisans from the Lau Province of the Fiji Islands.
Alisa has participated in many group exhibitions and has worked, to date, on private commissions as a source of income.
Much of her work explores social issues that are most important to her. Alisa is a self-taught painter who draws inspiration from her surrounding and from the people around her.
Living between Fiji and the Solomon Islands, Alisa is a multi-media artist, exploring painting, Fabric Printing/Designing, Interior Designing, dance and creative writing.
Alisa is currently working on private commissions in the Solomon Islands.
