I am an anthropologist whose work focuses on the
contemporary arts of Papua
New Guinea. I have curated several
exhibitions in the United
States and have arranged for PNG artists to
be artists-in residence. I am presently working with Dr. Michael Mel, VP and
Director of Expressive Arts at Goroka
University, EHP. In 2009,
we will be curating exhibitions of contemporary PNG art in London. UK, and Victoria, BC. Canada and
bringing over five contemporary PNG artists to speak about their work. |
