Artists Alliance is a membership based organisation established in
1991 as a not-for-profit incorporated society to represent and advance
the professional interests of the visual artists of Aotearoa/New
Zealand.
Artists Alliance's unique role is:

to be the membership organisation of choice for visual artists
- to be the advocate for the visual arts sector in the wider arts
community
- to form strategic partnerships with other key organisations, both
nationally and internationally, for the benefit of members,
constituents and the wider arts community
- to provide a comprehensive set of services which are specific to
the visual arts sector.
