Pacific Greetings from okaioceanikart gallery, the niu space for the art of Pacific people. Join us Thursday 28th August 2008 6 - 8pm For this month ‘Artists Toktok' hear Cerisse Palalagi (Niuean/Maori) BFA Elam, co artist of the Manu Dolls series on why she moved from greens to pinks and what colours she is working in now. Giles Peterson Curator of Pacificarts picks her as one of the ‘hot' niu talents on the Maori/Pacific visual arts scene today. Cerisse has exhibited internationally since graduating in 2000. Cerisse Palalagi at her first solo exhibition ‘Ranea' in June 2008 at Fresh Gallery, Otara Where: okaioceanikart gallery, 65 Karangahape Road.
