The Pacific Arts Alliance

The Fiji Arts Council would like to invite you to submit an artwork design (and a one paragraph description of your artwork) for an upcoming art exhibition on the theme of “Birds and Turtles” hosted by the Fiji Arts Council in conjunction with the French Embassy, Fiji. The exhibition will take place on July 15, 2009 as part of the Pacific Youth Festival.

Artists may work in any art form or medium of choice (i.e. painting, costume, re-cycle art, pottery, sculptures (metal, wood, etc ). The theme can be interpreted literally or metaphorically, depending on the artists interpretation.

A fee of FJ$150.00 is provided to assist each artists in acquiring of materials. It is a sales exhibition and the artwork should be available for the exhibition.
